A high-end Raylite Silver Calcium battery (Maintenance Free) was fitted to my Subaru Legacy on the 20th Dec 2011, by Battery Centre in Stellenbosch. After only 16 months, It now has a dead-cell and therefore, no longer usable. The standard warranty is only 12mths, which tells me they know that many of these batteries will expire way earlier than they should (3 - 5yrs). I did call their Toll Free number (0800 112 600) and had no joy. Best everyone knows to avoid Raylite's and look for an alternative with a minimum 2yr warranty. Glenn.
