Last month, I rented a car from Europcar and on receipt of the vehicle, I noted a small dent on the left back bumper. I showed this to the representative and clearly marked and signed for this on the relevant form.
However, when enquiring why my deposit was not refunded, I was told that I was charged... for a dent on the left back bumper!
I have phoned and e-mailed Europcar multiple times, and every time I am promised that this will be resolved, but nothing happens.
This is completely unacceptable. What else do I need to do to get my deposit refunded to me??
