General Motors South Africa
Faulty Clutch plate

I bought a brand new car with Eagle Canyon, and brought int in for a service after 15000km and when the car got back it had some funny noise and i report it back to the dealer and took it back in a week's time and i was told that it was a burnt clutch and they had to replace it and they refused to give me the car back and demanded R32 840.00 in cash and they were not releasing the carwithout that amount, they didnt even get an approval from me to start working on it. After 3 days of insertion of the new clutch, it was smelling and i called them back immediately and took it back and i was told there is nothing they can do. They said the car is too heavy to pull such a big car, now i do not know what to do as the clutch is still smelling and it is less than a week after being replaced. the car is not more than 7 months old and it has given me more than enough problems. They denied mea right to speak to their service technician. I went for a test drive with their driver on the 25th February 2013 and asked him questions and said the car was alright, went with the station manager for a test drive together with his salesman and they both said the driving was fine.
