Shocking bad service!!! One endless episode after another since November 2012. Last straw was an adjustment done on recommendation of their Service Manager, Francois de klerk on my Opel Astra 1.6 Essentia's clutch Friday 18/10/13 for slight shudder, where gears were all 100% operational when vehicle went in and when I got it back, my gears don't work properly, gears stick and engage with difficulty. Reverse gear grates to go in with force. Can't drive vehicle like this! They released the car to me like this and say they can't return vehicle to how it was before their adjustment. They are worried about any possible mechanical damage to the gearbox. They are withholding my vehicle at their Dealership and won't release it until I replace the whole clutch kit. They say clutch is not hydraulic, but bled it..? They continue to show their incompetency and I must just pay as a result. I have Service Plan with Warranty. Vehicle has done 56 000 kms with no abuse. Full service history, two thirds by them. They are not prepared to entertain claim to see for mechanical defect. Their solution is to replace clutch kit at R20k all for my account. Dealer Principal won't return any calls.
