The Engen service station at the corner of Tana Road & Barry Hertzog Avenue (cannot find name on Engen office web site, or Google maps) only sells Lotto tickets after 09H00 as this is when the shift that "may sell" Lotto tickets starts. Personally, I think that the owner believes that the sale of Lotto tickets "interferes" with sales of other merchandise and has therefore made this decision. Unfortunately this is short sighted, as a lot of people that purchase Lotto tickets also buy other merchandise at the same time. Anyway, I won't be shopping at this Engen again, as the owner certainly seem to have missed the concept of customer service. I urge all other customers to follow my example!
