On Saturday the 23rd March, I took my car to Fiat Craighall to have it looked at as it has a warning light.
One of their mechanics had a look at it, took it to their work shop ot have it plugged in the mcahines, he fixed it and took it around the block for a test drive and all was ok. He came back and handed the keys, as I left the dealer, I drove about - 700m at my car broke down at the traffic light, it just would get into gears. I called them and they came to check on the car, they told me that the clutch it gone, they was no warning at all. And this clutch was brand new as I had just replaced the whole kit on the 19th of December 2012. They took the car back to the dealer and was given a courtesy car to use. Now I have been informed that there warranty wont pay to replace the part as it because of how I drive..!!! Very disgusted, I have been driving for so many years and have never ever had to replace clutch kit every 3months. I phoned FIAT SA and they confirmed after taking my vin number: MCA11815G07014855 that the clutch kit part has a year warrantly. Fiat has qouted me R5115.04 to replace the kit and labour. I do not have that money. Why is warranty not paying???
