Bad service and workmanship

I own a Land Rover Freelander 2 - took it into Land Rover Menlyn to question a lag in pull off power, and they quoted me a huge figure: new clutch etc etc, but lowered their price when questioned. Settled for a sum of just over R15, 000 they replaced a few parts.

Got the car back and a few days later the car started getting a warning engine light on dashboard, as it happened every time the car would lose tremendous power (only happened after they worked on vehicle!). To keep this short, took it into Land Rover Menlyn further 3 times with parts and service being charged. Last week being the 4th time backwards and forwards to pick up vehicle we were promised this time all was fine, and that it had been thoroughly test driven.

I stressed the point that my girlfriend was driving down alone from Pretoria to Cape Town, and Gavin the service manager promised all was well.

Tuesday morning 12th Feb outside Bloemfontein the car broke down, now not even talking about bad service and waste of time her life could have been in danger! Honestly in my opinion - stay away from Land Rover Pretoria, badly run workshop and an attitude of we you and take your money!!
