I purchase my Land Rover Discovery 4 in August 2010 from Land Rover PMB, driving this amazing vehicle (at the time) home to Amanzimtoti. The very next day the best 4 x 4 by far had its first restricted performance displayed on the on-board computer with less than 24 hours. Not thinking much at the time, I phoned for assistance. 3 years later with more then 16 engine restricted performances and with the third engine replacement, I AM STILL phoning for assistance. This include today's restrictive performance... I have been with 3 different Land Rover dealers. PMB, Durban and Empangeni. Sorry to say that Durban Land Rover have gone the extra mile in helping and protecting the brand.

My ordeals have included loosing power on the highways, complete engine failures, break done in traffic, cancelling trips, denial at boarder post. To mention some.

The vehicle has only as little as 45000km on the clock.

I have requested a refund, extended guarantee and replacement.

As a consumer of Land Rover one needs to consider that once you have paid and your guarantee has runout, you are on your own. BUT REMEMBER TO CALL AGAIN AND SUPPORT LAND ROVER.
