Unacceptable delay in delivering a parcel

Dear Dawn Wing

We are bitterly disappointed with the service which was provided to us with the delivery of an important package to one of our high priority clients in Mpumalanga. We arranged well in advance the a package (1230287100) be delivered to Pilgrim's Rest and we were aware of delivery in Pilgrim's Rest on Thursdays only, therefore we had the parcel ready for collection on Wednesday 06 February 2013. The parcel was collected and were assured it will be in Pilgrim's Rest on Thursday 07 February 2013. This was due to an environmental project which ran from 07 February and according to the government gazetted legislation we must adhere to these time frames. Due to this delay, our newspaper advertisement in Mpumalanga News went out without a report to review.

We inquired constantly on Thursday, Friday and even today, as it had to be delivered on Thursday already and my client is very unsatisfied with the service.

I have never had any problems with Dawn Wing in the past and it was my preferred courier, however with this delay I will seriously reconsider using you in future, as our client is very unsatisfied.
