Very bad customer service

With this Engen garage (cnr Cambridge & Frans Hals str) being the only convenient garage close to my work, I stopped there today, 6 Feb '13 at 16h10 to fill my car. I drove in and the petrol attendant still showed me where to stop. He came over and I asked to fill up. He walked away and then came back to tell me he will help me in 5 min because they are busy with a shift change. I waited for 10 min. All the attendants were gathered at the payment window chatting and joking around. After a while I asked for the manager who was called. I asked him how the whole garage can come to a stand still with no customers being helped because of a shift change. He pulled up his shoulders and said that's how the owner wants to do it. 15 min later I left the garage with no petrol in my car and had to drive around looking for another garage. This is absolute. They obviously don't know anything about customer service and is definitely not worried about loosing business. I will definitely not support them again and will think twice before stopping at an Engen garage. One bad apple makes the whole Engen franchise look bad. Best you tell the owner to pull up his socks.
