This morning I went to the Engen on John Vorster, my normal filling station - I fill up there twice a week! Anyway bad planning as they only had 4 attendants on duty. How do you have 4 attendants when it is the busiest day of the month??? I sat next to a pump for 10 minutes before I was helped.By this time I was fuming. Told the attendant to fill it up and to call the manager. He filled car but did not say a word to me - the more I told him to call the manager the more I was ignored!! Eventually my fiance went to fetch the manager - but damage done, I had been there over 20 minutes and was now going to be late for work. The manager Johan Heckler was disinterested would NOT answer my questions and when I told him that I wanted the owner of the garages details told me that the owner had nothing to do with the garage and he was in charge. Well Mr. GM please explain to the owner and to Engen Petroleum why they have just lost a loyal customer. I would rather run out of petrol than EVER go to an Engen again. And yes I will spread the word to family and friends - they will also not ever come to your garage again!!!
