My motor siezed in Feb'11. I requested a quote from Tim for which he submitted very quickly. He then requested a deposit of R 25K. This was paid before the motor even arrived at his workshop. He needed to place an order with the States for parts. Months went by with numerous empty promises and me getting no closer to seeing anything like progress on my rebuild. I even flew up to his shop to see what progress had been made only to find my crate full of parts but no sign of an engine build in progress
Tim then contacted me and said the motor was ready and he would be coming down on the week-end of the 19 Nov'11. He requested a further payment of R 20K. The trusting person that I am, the money was deposited only to receive a call, late afternoon, that he had encounted problems with the build and he wouldn't be coming through to install the motor.
Tim eventually arrived with the motor in February'12, almost a year from the initial contact. The motor was installed on my premises with a few parts still missing. He promised to complete the instal but to date - now almost 2 years on and the car is still parked in my garage gathering dust. This is pathetic service.?
