On the 26/12/2013 my car was taken to VW Malmesbury. After examining my vehicle Volkswagen quoted me on the parts and labour on my vehicle which was going to cost me R3500. Jaco (the guy i spoke with at Volkswagen told me that additional charges for the oil seals is going to be added to the total. I told them to go ahead with it. Only after they replaced the water pump they told me that the crankshaft is also faulty and said that its best to replace the motor which will cost me more or less R30000. I was upset at them for quoting me on something that isn't the main problem and told them to put my old water pump back and just leave the car as it is. At the end of the day i had to pay R2137.55 for removing reinstalling the old water water pump. I would have told them to go ahead with the job if i knew that that's not going to solved the problem. I have paid for something i think they at fault. I'm very disappointed in Volkswagen for the service they gave me. I'm the owner of two VW cars and this is the service i got from them. My car came back with my spotlight grill missing and my car is in a worst condition than what i left it. Also the oil leak is worst and i didnt drive the car.
