The GWM in Centurion Im complaining about is the one on the corner of Hendrik Verwoerd and Old Jhb rd. I own a service and repair workshop & deal with vehicle manufacturers daily. My friend has bought his 2nd gwm steed 2.4. I came in today to purchase 3 filters for its service. Upon your arrival at gwm, citroen, Peugeot or Suzuki dealer on this corner, you must pass through a spiked floor & boomed gate where two illiterate security guards scan your vehicles license disc before opening the boom. I proceeded through their "show floor" & was directed to go through the door & up the trechorous amount of steps to find the parts department upon which & making a long story short, I was the only client amoung two salemen, for 3 filters it took half an hour to obtain the parts after being INTERIGATED on whos name the vehicle is in & which vehicle it is on their system, I asked are the parts correct & he said yes. Making my way out, stomach turning already to the thought of their security guards, they wouldn't let me out because I didnt have my DRIVERS LICENCE CARD ON ME FOR THEM TO SCAN? I will leave you to imagine the story further... only to return to shop with INCORRECTLY SUPPLIED PARTS!
