Please train your delivery staff to call the person they are trying to deliver to BEFORE a) arriving at the delivery point and finding no one is available, and b) sitting in their vehicle and hooting obnoxiously.
I have a perfectly good doorbell. And if you're not going to wait the 30 seconds for me to get to the door before calling me, then why not call me FIRST, and not bother hooting?
Also a simple hello in return would also be a nice touch, especially after having just alerted the entire neighbourhood to your presence.
