For anyone or business that's thinking of using TNT express for shipments.
I had 2 shipments coming from China all went well until it reached SA.
The shipments got stuck at clearance for 4 days. I spent all 4 days on the phone trying to find out what the problem was. No one could tell me.
Only on the 4th day was I able to find a manager that assisted me and told me what the problem was. I'm am still waiting.
Staff in the clearance department are not trained to deal with customers correctly.
Staff are very rude.
Trying to get hold of someone is impossible.
Staff always away from their desk, on lunch, on tea.
Transferring me from one person to the next.
Phones keep ringing with no answer.
Every single person I spoke to told me a different story.
I got told so that the parcel was cleared, when it was not.
Incorrect invoicing for customs clearance.
Absolutely no communication from TNT express, I had to call to find out what is going on.
Absolutely no care whatsoever about the delay in my shipments.
TNT express has cost my business a loss of R150 000 and clients
I would strongly suggest to any company to use a difference shipment company, one that actually offers service delivery
