My Shipment Sent from overseas was divided into 2 parts (sent same day)
the first shipment arrived on schedule (great i get what i paid for express service)
the second shipment consists of 4 boxes 1 box arrive with the the first shipment
the other 3 is still pending 8 days after initial delivery (no light at the end of the tunnel yet)
when contacting DHL to enquire if a refund would be processed as this is clearly becoming economy service
i was informed none is due as it is because of customs clearance delays
lovely who does the customs clearance this is processed by dhl so
what they are saying is
when some of our staff is incompetent to process your express parcel as express
and customs delays are incurred that would be regarded as out of our control as it is a customs delay
i use DHL regularly and must say that some shipments come without problems
but it is like playing Russian roulette (depends who your parcel gets allocated to for the admin)
