Exploitative and diabolical billing, Stay away!

I rented a Hyundai i10 at Tempest Cape Town airport on 19/09/2013 and returned the car on 21/09/2013. The deal offered 200 KM per day free for which I paid about R700, about R3200 was pre-authorized on my account/debit card as a deposit. I was not able to exceed or even reach the 200 KM per day for even a single day, I was in Cape Town the whole time. Now Tempest claim I drove their car for 3240 kms! That's more than twice the whole length of South Africa! The scummy and ratty fact about this is that when I returned the car they confirmed that everything was in order and that I didn't exceed the offered mileage. Now they want to in excess of R5000 from my account for distance exceeded! This is very dodgy because on 23/09/2013 I called and they told me the deposit is being repaid to my account since there's no extra charges. It's now a week after I returned the car but they are still holding my money with no justification whatsoever.
