So I hav complained to dhl directly & i thank them for the quick response & Mr Sipho Ntuli that actually did contact me immediately tryin to rectify the situation.
I received a gift frm Karachi Pak which ws snt to me on 8th Oct, package was in SA by Thurs the 10th. Was contactd on Fri & askd to pay taxes which ws around R600 which i did almst immediately thinkin i wud get my stuff soon as i am leaving CT on the 20th. I never got my stuff that day & was told that on Mon customs will clear it. Mon came..Nothin. On Tues i ws askd for an Affidavit stating that it was a gift frm a family friend. Such an inconvenience but i did it anyhow as i did'nt want to delay the process any longer. I was told that the affidavit ws sent to customs who wud get back WHICH NEVER HAPPENS! why cant dhl be proactive & contact customs instead of makin customers kp callin bck & findin out wats happenin only to be told.. still waitin. i spent 100's on airtime callin & being put on hold all the time and still nothin progresses. Dhl knew im leaving on Sunday & no1 is here to claim it & i was told to contact Abu Bakr with regards to a VOC on Sat.. ABU BAKR DOESNT WORK ON A SATURDAY! SO DISGUSTED AND DISAPPOINTED!
