I live in the very rural and remote area of the Eastern Cape. I drive a Discovery 4 (FPX 861 EC) and had a small problem regarding a grinding noise when the steering was turned to full lock on a tarred surface. I called the dealer in Bloemfontein who courteously responded that I call the Land Rover Assist number who very competently logged a call with a recovery truck company (J J Motors) in Bloemfontein who immediately despatched a rollback vehicle to fetch my vehicle while a replacement vehicle to tide me over was despatched from Johannesburg, all within approximately 8 hours. After the necessary repairs my vehicle was returned promptly and the replacement vehicle was fetched, all at no charge or inconvenience to me.
