I booked a car for hire online on the 11 of September and i paid by my credit card R2 500 and some cents. When i went to collect the car, i was told that i should have R9100 14% in my credit card. That surprised me because in the terms and conditions nothing was mentioned of this amount and the people at Milne road could not help with cancellation. they said i should cancel online since i had booked online. that surprised me too because they were going to give me the car with the documentation but they could not assist with cancellation. why the processes are not linked?
i cancelled on the same day which was the 20th of September but i have not yet received any response whilst when i was booking, i got the responses promptly. Am i being ripped off by small print which was not included?
