Nissan South Africa
RE: SERVICE OF MOTOR VEHICLE

I took in my NP 200 to be serviced on the 5th of September 2013. I received same back that same afternoon. I drove home and parked it. I only drove it again the Monday morning (9th of Sep 2013) to work and felt something was not kosher. Unfortunately on the way back that afternoon someone bumped into my side and it had to go to panel beaters. I also informed them that something was wrong and I thought it might have been due to the accident. I received the bakkie from the panel beater Friday and it couldn't it even move in 1st gear and was jerking in 2nd. My husband went to Nissan The Glen Saturday morning to have them take a look. There wasn't even one manager on duty. He left and had to find a spare shop because by that time he came aware that the bogi cord on the first jet wasn't fastened it loose in the engine and the 3rd bogi cord was broken. We were necessitated to take VW Gold bogi cords as the NP200 bogi cords aren't even listed in the books yet. I am a women who drives to and from work alone and I could been stranded alongside the road. This is totally unacceptable a vehicle is suppose to be better after a service not worse and then not even speaking about extra costs.
