What was supposed to be a straight forward replacement of a stock standard nudge bar for a Daihatsu Terios has turned out into a 5 month struggle to get the work done. Firstly, it took 2.5 months to order and receive the part. Once received it took a whole day to realize that it was the wrong nudge bar. So, new one was ordered which again took almost two months. Upon arrival again after vehicle was booked in for a day it was realized that the form was now the same but it was the wrong color. Not to wait any longer they made the decision to color match and spray the unit. This took another week. At last, after bringing the vehicle in for the third time it took them two hours to realize that the brackets of the old nudgebar could not fit the new unit. I was promised that the fitment of the unit would take 30 min. This was an insurance repair handled by Santam. I am scared to think how they would handle a dent or major autobody repair. Will not make use of or reccomend the car lab again for any work, however big or small.
