After buying the Sony NWZ-W202 unit it was faulty (very Bad Battery life), I waited for response from Sony from 30/08/2012 to 24/01/2013 (5months) to fix the issue. A phone call from Sony Menlyn confirmed that the Unit was to be replaced by a the newer model (NWZ 262), so I decided to wait a bit longer and give them some extra time. I just received a phone call from Sony Menlyn conformed that the same unit that was sent in for repairs will be fixed and will sent to the Menlyn Branch on Monday the 28/01/2013. I'm very unhappy because I have waited for 5 months to receive any helpful progress on my repair, and that the unit will not be replaced by a newer model after that it was confirmed/ promised that it would be. I've had the product for 2 months and its been in for repairs for almost 5 months now. This is by far the worst service I've received, after multiple phone calls and visits no one could assist me on the issue. Sony Menlyn reported that they struggled to receive progress and paper work from the REPAIR AGENT, this is not my problem I'm at the point where I actually just want my money back and rather spend it on a product such as Apple Ipod.
