I had an Altech Netstar tracker system fitted 8 months ago, paid R1000 for the unit and have paid R99 each month for services, after the third month of payment I phoned Altech to run a test on my vehicle which I received no feed back from them after a few days, I phoned again to run the test on my vehicle when I received a phone call back from them saying they're not receiving any signal from the unit, and agreed that the last time they received signal was date of installment, and could not reimburse me for the three months of services that the unit did not work. I then took my vehicle to the fitment centre to have repaired, with in 45min of parked outside the fitment center they said to me everything is in working order sent via satelite. Recently on the 27th of may I phoned again to check my vehicle to find that my unit is still not working, after a lot of investigation and phoning and with help of another fitment center we found out that the technician who fitted this unit on my car, did not do a loop closure on the device which means it has not worked for 8months, I have still not receive any feedback or respons from this fitment center or Netstar themselves!
