I happened to have a contract with Vodacom which had already expired, and I upgraded my number with a laptop. When it was delivered, there was no charger. I then phoned Vodacom and informed them. The consultant told me to return it, which I did. It was collected on May 12, 2023, at 8:25. To my dismay, R300 was deducted from my account. I couldn't understand the reason because I returned the laptop.
I then went to the nearest Vodacom shop in Chris Hani Mall Vosloorus and lodged a complaint. I also called and spoke to Thabiso Thahane, Ref: 236096271599. After I was called that they wanted to deliver, I informed the courier that I had already cancelled the second deal. I personally told Thabiso Thahane very clearly that I was no longer interested in the deal. It hadn't even been two days or a week since the deal was made.
To my surprise, this morning R6232.92 was deducted from my bank account. I could not understand the reason. My previous contract had finished, which is why I was upgrading. I don't owe anything to Vodacom.
