Im in the process of buying the new kia rio. After waiting many months to purchase it one finally became available and since i am buying it cash i thought Kia would be very helpful. Instead they made me believe that the car im purchasing (which is a demo model) has all the extras already such as maintenance plan and paint tech and a tracker for R4000 which was over priced. After i decided to buy it cash and already singed the otp the total of the car with everything on the otp was R177 000. 2 weeks later the sales consultant called and said that they do all their calculations excluding tax and all those extras are not part of the purchase price.which ends up being more than R35 000 extra. I couldn't believe that after so long they only told me this information now. i spoke to the manager of that branch who was very rude and had no way of sympathising. How many other people have they led to believe that they get all these and that they didn't include tax?? We pay tax for everything in this country! Now im unsure whether i still want to purchanse this car or go to another make completely. With better customer service.
