The AA billed an old account of mine when my renewal was due... but still sent me the letter asking for the payment. So I paid and only realised 4 days later that they had actually billed me already.
26 July - Email sent - Got no response
05 Aug - Emailed again - No immediate response
07 Aug - AA get back to me (2 different people, so obviously not much communication happening on their side)
13 Aug - We get the reversal confirmed and they say it will take 7 - 14 working days
02 Sep - Emailed AA for an update - No response
04 Sep - Email again - still no response
Is this the kind of service the AA prides itself in?
(Just as a side note... I was expecting the funds back in that old account of mine that is still subject to a service charge every month... the tiny service charge has now made the account go overdrawn so now I am being charged a fee for that one time dip below... again it will be a minor fee to pay but it just irritates me more that the AA's bad service is actually costing me now)
