I took my Bmw E46 320d to Bosch about a month ago for a diagnostic to determine what is wrong with my vehicle. The car seemed to have an issue with the clutch as it would struggle to pull away, it had a terrible clutch shudder and the clutch would slip at speed. About a day later Bosch got back to me with a quote (no mentions about the clutch, i had asked them to check it). I told them to go ahead with the repairs. The replaced a propshaft coupling and the turbo charger along with other jobs that need to be done. Once i EVENTUALLY got my car back (this took 2 weeks despite them telling me daily my car would be ready the following day) now the car makes a horrible "vibrating" noise which sounds to be coming from the centre of the car. Also the "new" turbo they have put in is perhaps even worse than my old, worn turbo. The car is flat and Seems very sluggish. When i start the car in the morning thick, white smoke billows from the exhaust. My car never used to smoke like it does now. There also never used to be the racket coming from the centre of the car. I am in the process of getting my car checked by a BMW specialist to determine what is wrong with the vehicle now
