I did a transaction on a new i20 Hyundai vehicle at the end of July 2013. I trade-in my existing vehicle for an amount of R40 000. A deposit of R20 000 went towards the purchase of the new vehicle and with the balance I had to settle the finance at Wesbank on a existing vehicle. I delivered the trade-in on the 30th of July and up till today I have not received the cheque for the balance of R20 000. I've been to the franchise each and every day the past week and each time I get the response that they are waiting for the directors to sign my cheque. In the mean time the settlement I got has expired and I have now paid 16 days interest because the directors of this franchise can't sign a cheque for a vehicle they most probably already sold. Their telephones are not working, the salesman Mario Zietsman has taken it up with the sales manager Julia as well as the franchise manager but to no avail. They can't even give him an indication of when the directors will be available to sign my cheque. So, if you do a trade-in, stay away from this franchise!!!
