I purchased a vehicle from Imperial Select Meadowdale and at the same time traded in my Nissan X-trail. I was advised that I would receive a cheque for my Nissan X-Trail within 7 days of trading it in. It is now over two weeks and I still do not have my cheque. I was advised only after handing over the keys and registration papers for my X-Trail that I needed to give Imperial some kind of proof of purchase of the X-trail because registration papers are not enough to prove that the vehicle is not. Before purchasing my car from Imperial I received excellent service, however once I had taken delivery of the vehicle the customer care became non-existent. I have had to phone everyday for the past week to find out what is happening with my cheque. I have spoken to the sales man who took the X-trail from me (Roderick Toland) as well as his manager (Marius). There is no sense of urgency in terms of giving me payment for my X-trail which they have in their possession. I have requested by cheque alternatively return of the vehicle but to on avail. I also still have to wait for the cheque to clear in my bank. It seems being a woman alone means they do not have to contact me.
