Wash car at own risk - even if it's their fault

Decided to have my car washed at BP Queenswood. After waiting for 1.5 hrs, I approached the cleaner to ask why it's taking so long today. She rudely replied "because your car was very dirty" - I think that's the reason my car was there though!
She started cleaning the rear view mirror and next thing I know, it fell into her lap. She pretended nothing happened but I was watching her. I asked her to call her manager and after I explained the situation to him (Francois) - he told me that there was a board up stating that customers have their car cleaned at their own risk. Really? Even though your staff member broke something?
He then proceeded to question the condition of the mirror when I got there. I politely let him know that the condition of the mirror was that it was on the windscreen and now it's not and I'd like it back on. At this point, I spent 2 hours at BP already and all I wanted was for it to be fixed so that I could get to the office. They got glue to fix it - this did not work. Francois then said I should go to PG Glass to see if they can fix it. At who's expense and time?
My problem is -no apology offered and no accountability by Francois - PATHETIC SERVICE!!
