DHL was to get back to me but never bothered

On the 29th of July I had an urgent package to be sent to an address in Chelmsford Essex CM1 3JH. I used their express service which says delivery time is 1 to 4 days. This was a Monday. The package has still not arrived on Thursday. I did a tracking trace using their number1237146503, to my amazement their was a query on the address and my small package had gone to Liverpool. The address was clearly marked on the envelope as this was confirmed by their head office in the UK. They then expressed it to the correct address in Chelsford Essex. The excuse was the postal code had been misread as CH. This seemed a poor excuse when Chelmsford was right above the the postal code. Does no one there in the UK read? My next question as the address included both my contact number and the recipient, was while it was in their Liverpool depot, when was someone going to contact either myself or the recipient? I had paid extra for the Express service. I had a call of apology from DHL`s call centre here in South Africa where I asked for a refund to compensate for my expense in having to make several telephone calls to the UK at peak time. They said the would get back to me. So far nothing heard.
