Unnecessary costs/damage incurred

My car went in for a normal service only for it to come out of the service with the breaks still screeching loudly (which was brought to their attention prior to the start of the service) and additionally, my driver's side electric window is now not working. In order for the window to be fixed I need to purchase a new mechanism which costs thousands of rands which is unacceptable as my car went in with the window working perfectly. We took the car back and forth to be seen to about 3 times, and with us not living too close to the company, this undoubdtedly cost us a lot for fuel only because things could not be sorted out the first time round. The breaks have not stopped screeching so I guess nothing was done about that either on the trips back. I have never previously been so dissatisfied at service rendered by this company and am very disappointed. It would be really great if my issues were dealt with at no cost to myself as it is clear that I did not cause the window problem and with regard tot he breaks, the mechanic servicing the car should be well aware of what needs to be done in order to alleviate the problem. I do hope that this matter will be dealt with urgently.
