When I visited Battery Centre N1 city to get a new battery for my car, your salesman tried to sell me a battery for R1400, even offering me friends and family discount to get it down to R1200.

I could tell he was trying to sell me something I didn't need - I phoned another battery centre branch and was quoted R900

I ended up getting a perfectly serviceable battery for R740 from Supa Quik

I think the lesson here is overselling for the sake of a couple of rand in commission cost you a whole sale
