I rented a Car on the 31st December 2012 from First Car Rental. When I got to the parking lot to pick up the car I was given a car with smooth tyres, scratches on the rims, it just looked really bad. I then requested another car and was given one. I would also like to add that the cars that are advertised on the website as available are infact not the cars that are standing in your parking bays. I was charged R9000.00 holding deposit until the car was returned and I was told that my money would be refunded 4-7 days after the car has been returned. I then returned the car on the 7th of January with a full tank of petrol and the guy signed the sheet to say the car has been returned. now 2 weeks later, I still have not received the refund and I am being charged R1450 for a scratch on the car. This is ridiculous!! I have called in numerous times and still I have not been refunded, I am awaiting my refund of R9000 which I was charged for the holding deposit initially. I expect this matter to be resolved as soon as possible and receive urgent attention!
