I had a Tempest car for 30 days which was paid for by my insurance. I returned the car on the 30th day and awaited my deposit to be returned. I called to enquire about it and they had deducted an additional R390 because they say the car was not received the same time it was returned. According to them it was an hour and a few minutes late. On top of this, the give a 59 minute grace period so in all they say that I was around 20 minute late. This is absurd as I know I didnt return the car more than an hour late. the clerk simply took the key when I returned the car. Nothing was asked and I didnt see him logging anything on the system. The fact that I was charged for an entire day because he may have logged the return late is unfair. This is no way to do business! I am really displeased with this and I caution other people using their service to take not of this.
