I hereby wish complain about poor customer service by Avis who after I cancelled a reservation is yet to refund me. I faxed the refund request form which they said must fill in on 21/05/2013 and in the form itself, it is stated that it takes up to seven days to process the refund.

However, when I phoned on the 22/05/2013 wanting to confirm if they had received the refund request form, I was sent from one department to another as there was no one who seemed to have an idea of what I talking about and eventually one lady I spoke to she said I should wait for seven days as it was still too early only the second day after I had faxed the form. I asked her if she could put me through to the refunds department, she said I should not worry if the transmission report says ok, it means that they have received the form.

Today the 04 June 2013, two weeks later, no refund has been made and when I phone Avis a lady by the name of Dudu Mbuli tells me that they never received a refund request form and I should therefore email the form again. When I email the form as per what Dudu said, the email gets returned as having failed to go through.

Please help. This is not so on.
