I purchased a 2d hand Suzuki Alto from Umhlanga Suzuki around March / April 2012. When it went in for its 45 000 service, I mentioned that there was a noise from the front wheels that sounded like a bearing was worn. The bearings were replaced. Subsequent to that, the vehicle has been back in at the workshop approximately once a month with a horrible noise emanating from the front; Various items were replaced under warranty, but to no avail, the noise persisted. I eventually requested that they find a replacement vehicle for us. For the last 5 months I have had to endure excuse after excuse about why they had not been able to find a replacement vehicle. In the meantime, the noise got progressively worse until eventually the wheel bearings were replaced again. Within a few weeks the noise was back! Eventually out of sheer frustration, I managed to find someone who would trade in the vehicle and give me my settlement figure (I lost the R10 000 deposit that I had put down as I only got the settlement value) and I purchased a replacement vehicle. The Alto is an awesome vehicle, however CMH Suzuki Umhlanga was a bad experience. I would not recommend them!
