Abusive when their bank card machine did not work

My Daughter 14yrs of age, took her sister 16yrs of age for a meal at this branch on Sunday 14 April 2013. After the meal it came time to pay. The first attempt to pay the machine failed, the second machine the paper jammed and the third attempt the bank refused because of too many attempts. All well and good, no issues here could happen to anyone. However I received a call from my frantic daughter to please come bail them out of the situation. On arriving I could see that my daughter was distressed and asked the manager why did he scare my daughter. His attitude was immediately impatient and aggressive, blaming the card machine. I paid for the meal. I made him aware that I was not happy and would investigate this, if the issue was on his side I would rightly be unhappy as I got the impression this man blamed my daughter - his whole attitude was offensive and borderline abusive. My daughter and I received no apology and it became immediately obvious that there was no attempt to make this young patron comfortable nor to help her with the situation. I am disgusted and don't think this manager should be in the industry at all. To say the least this franchise won't be see me ever again.
