After an exhausting drive from Witbank to Bloemfontein we were in a hurry to go to breakfast in Bloemfontein. We got to the Burning Spear Spur at about 9:40. We were welcomed warmly by Thabo our waiter and he served us our first round of drinks. After that he never returned again to our table and we had to get up and place our orders. I do however understand this sometimes how busy a restaurant can be seeing that I am in the industry myself. After an hour I calmed the table and said that breakfast can sometimes take long seeing that we are there on peak times. When we received our food at 11:15 it was ice cold. I then went to the front and find Retha there. I said to her that my food is ice cold and so is 4 other peoples food at our table. The reply I got made my blood boil... "The only thing I can say is sorry." Not that she is willing to warm my food... NO NO... She is sorry. I left my plate there and left. We paid for all the breakfast not even half eaten and left to stop at a garage to get some pies. William tried but unfortunately it was to late. Ice cold breakfast and very rare cold steak was not our idea of a good breakfast in Bloemfontein.
