Failure to refund for non rendered service

On Friday the 1st of February I went into Mcdonalds (Myaville - Pretoria) for take-aways, After swipping my creidt card numerous times with several speed points I was told that the transaction was declined. Therefore left the resturant without food. to my surprise I got home and my cradit card had been debited by mcdonalds. Returned to the resturant the following monday (with the original bank statement as proof and gave it to them), explained what happened, the cashier collaborated my story. I requested for the transaction to be reversed, the duty manager "Wilson" promised to facillitate that. nothing happened until the 24th then I contacted customer care. They (Lana Magerman) asked me to provide them with an up to date bank statement. I did that and never heard from the again. I only received phone calls from Mayville store a day after I had been in touch with customer care. all they ever wanted or said was to demand another bank statement of which I provided them again and that was it no thanks or explanation as to when my money would be paid back. And I'm still waiting. How difficult is it to reverse a transaction???
