We visited Spur to celebrate my daughters birthday. we had to ask for our table to be swept and cleaned, we had to wait for our drinks, the beers were practically warm. then came the disastrous food order, waiter did not write down our order, (we were a party of 7) we waited so long for side plates and cutlery that our starters got cold. then all 4 steaks were well done, even though we ordered them 2x medium 1xmedium to well and 1xmeduim to rare. 3 steaks were sent back, the new steaks were incorrect, 2 were sent back, those also came back incorrect, we ate anyway as we were starving at this point, the 2 orders of ribs were shameful!! they were horrible cuts, difficult to eat and meatless!! we were compensated with 3 free desserts, the only order they got right, was my daughters ribs, but she didn't even eat on her birthday, cos she is in the habit of everybody eating together, but nobodies food arrived at the same time. we spent well over R1500 for a horrible experience, and i will never go back there!!! we are weekly patrons at San miguel spur, as Spur is my daughtersand my favourite family restuarant, and tygervalleySpur should really learn something from San Miguel Spur ASAP
