I have booked my daughters birthday party at our local Spur, which is the Redwood Spur, about 2 weeks in advance and even contacted them and confirmed the booking on Friday the 2nd of August. The party was on Saturday 3rd of August. When we got there we were taken to our table immediately. But the table for the kids was not even set up properly. No balloons, colouring books and crayons and no masks. Only place mats.
After ordering our food took 1 hour if not longer to come and we had to look for the waiter every time we wanted to order something or enquire about orders not coming.
There was another birthday party on and the spur staff got together and sang for the birthday boy with a starlight in his ice cream. They did not even do this for my daughter.
When we paid for the bills, the kids did not even get the surprise gift.
We where invited to the spur for another birthday party on Sunday the 4th and that table was set up nicely and they got the gifts. My husband then compliant about the gift situation and they brought it to us.
However i am very upset with this service. It was the first time to host my daughters party there and I would not do it again.
