We just had an awful experience at the Wimpy at the N1stop just outside Bloemfontein. We arrived there just after 13h00, very hungry. My children ordered kiddies meals and my husband and I, meals that had chicken breasts in them.
My daughter's food arrived some time later, ice cold. We sent it back to the kitchen and they heated it up in the microwave. 40 minutes after arriving, we were still waiting for our food. When my husband approached the manager about this, we were met with all sorts of excuses. He said that they 'had to make a plan' for us because they had no chicken. The food was still not ready and so we said that we were leaving to which the manager said he would then do us the favour of deducting the food (which had still not arrived) off the bill. Not once, did we receive an apology from either manager.
To top off a really awful experience, when my son stood up we found that he had sat in chewing gum which was stuck to the top of the seat of his obviously uncleaned chair. Hi there. Did we decide yet where and when we are meeting. I have a memory like a sieve.
And so we are continuing our journey, still hungry with a child whose pants are covered in gum. I will m
