Not enough characters to explain the whole story, but basically:
I paid for my food at the drive through, the server told me it was declined (but couldn't give me a receipt to prove it) but I received an sms from the bank confirming the payment had gone through.
I then went into the store, called my bank and checked my internet banking and both of these again confirmed that the payment had gone through.
Preceded to be treated like a criminal by two totally unfriendly and incompetent managers (Mabel and Dewan).
Spent an hour arguing with them, which included multiple calls to KFC customer care (who were apparently also phoning these two managers to tell them to give me my food.)
Gave up after an hour of arguing, R108 poorer, with no food and totally off.
Apart from treating me like garbage and my money, the two managers in question were completely abrasive and not once in this debacle did they offer me a place to sit or any kind of comfort while they sorted out THEIR system errors. Nor could they begin to account for the missing receipt or the fact that my account had been debited.
Disgusting customer service by two apathetic.
