I went to Burger King in Tygervalley shopping centre a month ago. I bought 3 meals amounting to R132. My card was swiped for R1320 - which is horribly overcharged. I took it as a mistake and went back. They said they need to do a refund, so they swiped my card and said money would be back in my account in 3 days. They then swiped my card again for the correct amount of R132. So this means that they have swiped my card twice. The money was not refunded in my account.
I am still in communication with Burger King, Wynand on a daily basis, almost hourly to find out how far the refund is. He has on numerous occasions said the money would be refunded. He would phone his bank - Nedbank. And still no refund. They have taken money that does not belong to them. And not fixed the problem. Wynand is now not answering calls from me and is not willing to help me anymore. I am VERY disappointed in the bad service of a simple refund. It should not take a month for a refund to be done.
