Yesterday we went to KFC at Fourways Crossing, placed an order for food for 6 of us. All to find out after our order that they are only accepting cash. No signs up saying the card machines are offline. We were told we can just go to the standard bank across the road and withdraw money (please note it was raining). Upon returning to KFC to pay with cash, another customer was happily paying with his card. When we questioned the lady about how another customer can pay with a card and we cant, she said that the machine they placed our order on's card machine wasn't working. We weren't told that we can just place the order with another lady and save us the trip to the ATM as all we were told was the machines aren't working. Upon paying cash we requested a till slip which took 15min to find/reprint which in itself seems rather dodgy. Even a "manager" struggled to find the slip on the system. In the 15min waiting for our till slip, a group of drunk men came into the KFC with alcohol and went to sit in the upstairs section.(we have experienced the drunk crowd here on another occasion too) We will certainly not go to this KFC ever again!
