I went to the McDonalds at BP Garage in Stellenbosch 3AM Saturday 1st of February to buy a Beef Box Meal and Q'ed for 20 minutes at the drive thru, and once I got to the order machine to place my order I was told that their card facilities are not working and they only accepting cash. I then proceeded to the paying window to enquire why their card machines are not working, they told me that they dont know. SO I WAS BASICALLY TRAPPED IN A DRIVE-THRU NOT BEING ABLE TO ORDER AND THE MCDONALDS STAFF CANNOT EXPLAIN WHY??? I FIND THIS TO BE THE WORST SERVICE DELIVERY I'VE EVER RECEIVED FROM A MCDONALDS BRANCH. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN DEALT IN A MORE PROFESSIONAL MANNER BY HAVING SIGNAGE EXPLAINING THIS INCONVENIENCE OR STAFF ALLOCATED TO MAKE CUSTOMERS AWARE OF THE SITUATION. I FIND THIS DISAPOINTING COMING FROM MY FAVOURITE FAST FOOD CHAIN.
