Long weekend, long queues

ON the 23rd September 2013, the day before a public holiday, my family (all 28 of us) decided to visit the Water Park at Wild Coast. Once settled in, my sister and I decided to get takeaways for the adults and kids. Turns out the main Wimpy does not do takeaways so we were redirected to the kiosk within the Water Park. We joined a queue with about 15 people ahead of us. One and a half hour later we placed our order, found out there were no ice creams (it was about 32 degrees), toasted sandwiches and we would have to wait. Our order was R1227-80. Large order. 45 mins later we received our "breakfast", it was now 2.30 in the afternoon. I would not otherwise wait, except that this is the only place to get food as no food is allowed in. Talk about taking advantage. At least the management should have planned better that it was school holidays, a long weekend and or brought in more staff. The 2 people at the kiosk were running like crazy stuffing up orders! Shocking service from a reputable franchise, and certainly not one that I would ever visit again or recommend.
